Ft. Worth TX area, stolen radio

This was forwarded to me by other hams. I believe it to be legitimate information. Contact Ft. Worth Police if you have information on this radio. Message follows:
Please share with other hams, just released this morning from Ft. Worth PD

I did a google search on Julie Garritey and she is truley a FT Worth police officer.  Also, it was interesting to note that she is a competitive tournament bass fisherwoman.  Very successful.

You might want to check with Ham Radio Outlet, Texas Towers, and Amateur Radio Supply. They might be able to cross reference the serial number to the purchaser. I know HRO records the serial number of each radio during the transaction when it is sold.  TT amd ARS may do the same.
