downconverter 2.1 - 2.3 Ghz
« on: July 28, 2000, 06:21:19 AM »

Hi all,
I`m interested in Slovak microwave ham-radio and require help. Can me anyone help with constructing a simply microwave downconverter 2.1 - 2.3 Ghz to approx. 500-700 Mhz or help me with design of microstrip bandpass filters for these freqencies ?
The idea is build a low-cost downconverter with a non-profi parameters on a classic fibre-glass FR4 PCB material.

 Thanks

I may be able to give you some help with this.  2.1 GHz is a bit beyond the limit of G-10 or FR-4 board, but it might work OK.  You can contact me at w9sz@prairienet.org.
