Took Lido 8 days before they sent out my order...Bad service.

Order placed June 29th, sent tracking on July 2nd, and no movement since. Emails to Jim's address bounced as his mailbox is full. Emails to Sales have no reply. No return call to my voicemail. I'm waiting until the end of the week and will otherwise begin the dispute through PayPal. He has a few unique items I can't seem to find with Arkon, and seemingly no one else dealing in Lido offers them either, namely the expansion plate (Arkon's is a bit large) and the express plate to take a belt clip or microphone stud in one unit. Unfortunately I found this thread after my money was already in his pocket.

So I'm not feeling very generous today and decided to open my dispute today.  I feel like this is sort of a soap opera.  To be continued...

Hoping no one minds that I unload my frustrations here but thought I'd do the rest of the community a favor, if at all possible.  I wasn't expecting a response so quickly, but PayPal decided in my favor, already, and closed the dispute and refunded the purchase.  No telling whether or not Jim will ever take notice and I will make good on the purchase should the items actually ship and get here.  Otherwise, just a lesson learned.

Señor Jim Newcomb, quiero saber si es seguro comprar en Tu pagina, tengo necesidad de algunos de los articulos que vendes, he leido este foro y habla muy negativo de Tu pagina, confirmame si o no es seguro comprar y sino tambien sere otra victima de Lido Mounts.

Old thread but I recently purchased a Lido mount for my mobile rig, paid via PayPal.  Order was shipped promptly and received a few days later.

Thank you for posting. We have a very large number of customers that are happy with our service and mounts, unfortunately few post. They just enjoy their mounts.

I just want to say that I ordered 2 of the 22" mounts and they were here in 3 days. They are a High Quality mounts, and super fast shipping. I very highly recommend them.

My recent experience with Lido Mounts was excellent. I contacted Jim to check on availability of the mount that I wanted. I placed the order on Aug 26. I received the mount today, Sept 3. I am very happy with the responses and the shipping time. Thanks to Jim. I can hardly wait to install the mount and radio!
