LCD monitors VS CRT

HI, I am curious as to how much better LCD monitors are for cutting out interference compared to CRT monitors.

My ham rig causes my CRT monitor to flicker every time I use it, but my laptop which is the same distance away from my rig is fine.

So I guess my question is, has anyone had problems with interference when they use a LCD monitor?  Bill

Cheap monitor? RF in the shack? I'd find out what was causing the problem before I'd change monitors.

My 19" NEC MultiSync is 2 feet from my rig and 1 KW amp with no problems in any band.

Tnx Lon, the problem went away when I pluged my CRT monitor into an unused AC socket.  Bill

Well, that was easy. :)

Not all problems solve that easily, do they?
