"K" is fine.  I've submitted many, many logs with K, KW, etc., over the years.  Have never had one bounce.

"K" as Power Level in ARRL DX Contest

To save time while logging, for stations that gave me a report such as "59 K" or "59 One-K", or even "59 One Thousand", I just typed the letter "K" in the Power field on my logging software (N3FJP's).
Seemed logical at the time, but now I'm wondering if my log will bounce or I'll get disqualified if I submit it that way to ARRL.
Does anyone know if it's acceptable to submit a log with "K" instead of "1000", or do I need to go back and change them all to numbers?  Or worse yet, will they try to match each one exactly, i.e. if someone said "1000" I needed to type that, and so on...obviously I don't remember the subtle variations for each one.
Tnx, 73,
