I recently came across a Kenwood TKR-820, 450-470MHZ and it was tuned for 460.675MHz. Has anyone lowed the freq to the 420 - 450MHz portion of the band?

I have programmed and tuned a couple down into the 440 ham band with no problems. They are reliable old workhorse repeaters if you don't push them too hard.

I have one that is tuned to 446.575. Power is set to run 10 watts out of the internal cavities. The thing is in a non air conditioned building with a small fan on it and has been running 24/7/365 for years with not a single burp.
