This may be a rather silly question:
I have an Amp Supply Amp that I bought, because it had a new pair of 3-500ZG (Chinese) in it. I have put those tubes in my legal limit 6 Meter amp.
I have enough parts to build another amp, using a pair of 3-400Zs, that came out of the 6 Meter amp.
Would you build a dedicated 6 Meter amp (my favorite band) or just an HF amp? I will probably sell it, once complete, in either configuration.
This thing is all apart and looks like a Heathkit. Still, the transformer is a Peter Dahl and there are some nice parts.
I have fabricated a new front panel and have 3 meters for the various functions.
