Christmas on the Square in Live Oak, Florida
« on: November 17, 2012, 12:52:16 PM »

On Dec 1st, 2012 (Saturday), the Suwannee Amateur Radio Club (SARC) will be participating in the Christmas on the Square.  The SARC will be operating an HF station using SSB and PSK31.  There will be a 2 meter station set up also.  We’ll be operating on 20 meters between 14.227 to 14.295 MHz SSB and 14.070 for PSK31 but if the band is crowded, we will QSY to another part of the band or to 15 meters.  SARC will start operating at approximately 9 AM EST and continue to about 4 PM.

Our equipment will consist of:
- Yaesu FT-897d running 95 watts for SSB and 30 watts for PSK31
- Antenna is a Buddipole with vertical polarization up 12 feet with radial pointing NW

The club will be doing direct QSL exchange and EQSL.  Because the SARC is a nonprofit club, in order to receive a QSL card please follow these instructions:
- For US cards include a SASE
- For all non-US addresses please include 2 green stamps plus a self addressed envelope.
All cards received without proper postage will be filed!
