Interface Cable for Knwd TS-440S
« on: December 19, 2000, 11:13:42 AM »

After scouring the internet... Does anyone know where I can find a  PC to XCVR control cable (or schematic for same) for the Knwd TS-440S? Any suggestions on software would be appreciated too.
Thanks to all.

Hi Mark...would be happy to help you.  There are many sites for interface setups.  I would suggest the RIGBLASTER by West Mountain Radio.  It is a great little interface device and very simple to use and hook up.  Also with the RIGBLASTER comes a CD with many many digital software applications.  You can make you own interface or buy commercial.  I have done both and I really like the RIGBLASTER.  As far as software there is lots to choose from and I like them all!!  I would suggest the digipan to start off with for PSK31 but really they are all good and some have options that the other do not so it is all up to the user.  If you need any help please give me an email and would be happy to help you direct....KB9UMT DON  PEORIA IL EMAIL:DHOBSON123@AOL.COM  OR KB9UMT@ARRL.NET

Below is the internet address for RIGBLASTER:

Try this source.
Their IF-232C equivalent worked well on my TS450.

Am looking for shareware or freeware CAT software that will work with my TS-450S. I've looked at TRX-Manager but am thinking that it is more than I need. I only want a simple something to change the operating frequency for digital mode work.
Thanks for any help.
