I have been running Pactor and RTTY using a 1278 and a Kenwood TS 450S (true FSK). The radio has dual cascaded 500 Hz filters. When I place both filters in line, the resulting audio produced by the radio trips the DCD circuit. It stays on constantly, even when no signal is present. Even reducing the DCD threshold does not solve the problem. Is there a way to modify the DCD characteristics to avoid the problem, or this a characteristic of the radio's filtering?
Thanks for any help,
