Icom IC-V8000 stolen
« on: May 19, 2013, 05:01:54 PM »

Not mine, but, FYI:

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/for/3805236943.html

 "Ham Radio Icom IC-V8000
Stolen on the morning of Tuesday May 14 from my driveway in Loma Linda.
The radio is mounted in a ammunition box then set inside a cloth "digital camo" colored bag (see image).

Please email me if you find my radio being peddled for cash/meth. Idiots could have easily unplugged the radio from the dash but instead chose to wear down their already shattered meth teeth by gnawing through the wires.

THANKS!

These people aren't brain surgeons.  Check local pawn shops (if your community allows them) and watch Craigslist.  And if you find it on CL, be careful in meeting.  Consider alerting the police if you do, and insist on meeting in a public place. I'd advise you to carry a gun, but your politicians have already killed that idea.

Good luck and take care.
