TOO many projects!
« on: April 20, 2014, 04:09:36 PM »

Nice to see this forum topic added.  My problem is that I have way TOO many Arduino based projects in the works.

- An automatic, screwdriver antenna controller that adjusts the antenna based on measured SWR.
- A controller to use my Kenwood TM-V71A as a remote, simplex, FM base station.  To change memory channels, it has to send sequences of DTMF tones to the radio and listen for DTMF responses from the radio.
- A controller for a homebrew AZ/EL rotator system for Amateur Satellites.  Uses Alliance U100 rotators.
- A homebrew repeater controller.  It will have a voice synthesizer for ID and error messages.

As I get any of these completed, I will post details here.

I have 4 arduinos. I'll keep an eye on this topic.

The satellite controller seems like a priority. Like to hear about progress there, even if it's a work in progress.

The satellite controller seems like a priority. Like to hear about progress there, even if it's a work in progress.

1) An automatic, screwdriver antenna controller that adjusts the antenna based on measured SWR.

Having problems with RF getting into circuitry.  Need to improve grounding and shielding in mobile installation.

2) A controller to use my Kenwood TM-V71A as a remote, simplex, FM base station.  To change memory channels, it has to send sequences of DTMF tones to the radio and listen for DTMF responses from the radio.

The location for the remote base is not ready yet so on the back burner

3) A controller for a homebrew AZ/EL rotator system for Amateur Satellites.  Uses Alliance U100 rotators.

One of my rotators has failed so no more work till I can afford to buy another one

4) A homebrew repeater controller.  It will have a voice synthesizer for ID and error messages.

No who has heard my voice synthesizer has liked it so, looking for a better solution.
