3938 Tube Night
« on: April 27, 2014, 08:49:35 AM »

It's time to bring out those boat anchors and hybrids and join in the fun. The 3938 tube net is held on the last Monday of each month at 8:00 pm Eastern time (3938 Mhz). The next net is scheduled for tomorrow evening, Monday, April 28th. The purpose of the net is to operate vintage transmitters/transceivers on the air, that include three or more tubes in the radio. You must have at least three or more tubes in your transmitter/transceiver to check in (tubes in your linear amplifier do not count).  Hope to hear you there.

Would be nice for you to hold such an event on a weekend evening like Friday or Saturday vs. weeknights. Some of us BA guys have to work second or third shifts and would really love to be included...PSE consider a change...

Sorry that your schedule does not allow you to participate.  However, this is not my net, and there are other factors that prohibit a change in the schedule.

If this isn't a microwave net (3938 MHz), then I think you missed a decimal point. Either that or you meant 3938 KHz.

Best of luck, and have fun with the net!

Yea, I missed a decimal point.  ::)  No biggie.  Unless someone is a complete boob, they should know it's an HF net.  Not too many "BOAT ANCHORS" are used on the microwave bands.
