Take a look at this thread on eHam:

http://www.eham.net/forums/Digital/1675

You need to

a) feed the output of the Kenwood receiver into the sound card "mic" input,

b) feed the sound card "line" or "headphone" output into the Kenwood "mic" input,

c) arrange for the Kenwood to switch into "Transmit" mode when the sound card is producing sound.

(c) can be handled by using VOX, if the Kenwood TS-50 has VOX.

If it doesn't have VOX, you can switch it manually, or build or buy an interface that lets your computer control the TS-50's "push-to-talk" switch.

Hi Abubaker,

The TS50 is quite easy to get going on PSK or any Data modes.
The Help file on DIGIPAN Version 2 is easily downloaded and has lots of information that will help with your start into PSK31. A good Mode to start in.
Digipan can be downloaded FREE from many sites.
Just Google.. DIGIPAN.

One nice thing with the TS-50. Although it does not have a DATA port as such.
Kenwood have brought the RX audio to a pin on the 8 Pin Mike plug. So its not needed that you hook into the Ex Speaker fron that.
The RX audio drives the Line in on a PC or MIKE in on a Laptop. These drive to Waterfall to show stations transmitting
Email me off list if you need ant further help.
