Post by: WD8DBY on October 03, 2019, 12:52:39 PM
Below is a URL to an NPR story and audio link for the WWV centennial and how WWV, MARS and the amateur radio community work together for the good of the nation.

An interesting article, but it leaves a lot unexplained.
If there were communications disruptions, who would be able to receive the WWV broadcasts?  (except those using boatanchors)   How would there be 'runs on the banks'  if  'computer screens could go blank.'

The same way they did in 1929

But without computers, would those bank accounts even 'exist' anymore?  How would the actual physical transfer of the bills take place without any access to records?
