Title: Used AM loop antenna worth $2 on ebay for $1200
Post by: N8FNR on November 07, 2020, 08:52:56 PM
What a great deal! Who would not want to buy a used AM loop antenna worth at least $2.00 for the great price of only $1200.00 (shipping is $7.00). If you really want to buy it I bet that you could get free shipping if you asked;

What I really like is the 48" x 1/4 wooden dowel for $220.20 and $8.18 shipping.  Perhaps he will combine shipping if I buy the antenna and the dowel?

These items won't last long!

 I recently bought a $7,000 Stanley hammer (mil spec) and a $24,500 toilet seat. (also mil spec) I have been searching for a $1,200 AM antenna for the longest time. Thanks much for bringing this GREAT DEAL to my attention!!!

An ebay seller explained to me that these prices are set when the product is out of stock or has been sold out at the moment so that people do not buy it.

 I paid 1299.95 for the exact same antenna at Best Buy. So I guess this price listed is a good deal. The antenna works great. I heard when Black Friday gets here they will drop to 999.95. When that happens I will definitely pick up a spare.

How about that pair of pliers w/side cutter for $1200? Don't they usually sell for about twice as much? :)

Wow, I just noticed that they have real good deals on Scotch 33 tape. You get a 3 roll package for 99.95. Looks like a pretty good deal. Only 9.99 for shipping.

Asking eBay (and, at times, Amazon)prices is one thing.

Getting them is something else.

I strongly suspect these prices are used in some kind of tax or insurance scam.

NO! I won't tell anybody how to run a scam!

Let me guess...

Send him a check for $1299 and after he puts in an insurance clam for $1499  (damaged in shipping)  he will send you a check for the original amount plus $100.

Strange that it would be priced that high, regardless or stated reason. The only guys who know what a MW Loop antenna is know that you can get a decent one for $30. No one else knows what one of these loops do, much less listen to MW to begin with....
