My buddy N3TIM I havent heard him in some time and was wondering if anyone knew him or knows if hes still alive. Been about 5 years since I saw him last.
-
QRZ shows an address. . . drop him a line.

Guess thats my only choice. I just wasnt sure if possibly someone in my area might have talked to him. The area I grew up in was where I started my HAM hobby. And when I return to that area the local repeater never has anyone on it and I know most of the hams in that area have gone SK. At least 5 that I know of for sure. Well time to write a letter.

The only problem with writing to him is that you may never know if he received the letter or not if you use the USPS.

Just stop.
I live in the middle of the Carribean ocean. On an island. Well over a thousand miles from the mainland.
I get my letters and packages daily. Sometimes a package is late by a couple days. My letters almost always are in my PO box on time. I get that bashing anything government is in vogue, but the mail service is pretty reliable.
Not to mention, I also have mail in the states, in California. No issues there either.

Shane,
I guess you are one of the luckier ones. In my neighborhood we are no so lucky. Maybe it is because of the cluster style mailboxes. Just today the mailman delivered mail to my cluster box and I noticed for some strange reason he came back 30 minutes later and removed some of the mail and took it with him then left. Strange, weird and scary. Not sure what that was all about but I was afraid to ask.

I did an internet search using his name and QRZ address and two phone number come up for him, try that...

Wow. Time to submit that postal employee for a drug test :)
On a serious note: I have found the Jacksonville, FL sorting center to be the place packages to on vacation. I had a pair of MTX speakers for my car (big 12 inch subs in a box. Not like a small thing you could set aside or something!!!!)..... They sat in Jacksonville for almost 2 weeks. The ONLY problems I have with mail is things that go through Jacksonville. Utterly amazing.

FCC ULS database shows a FRN re-assignment in Dec 2008 and a "Vanity" assignment. There are names in the ULS if you care to pursue, but you just listed a call sign.

I searched QRZ and only an address comes up. I will try the letter idea first. I hate just calling someone even if I know them well. LOL. I guess when it comes to it im still a millenial and prefer to just text. Thanks for the info. Ill search it again.
