I need a rotor controller to automate my sat antennas. What is out there on the market that is reasonably priced that will work with kenwood 2000. Is there any sites that may tell how to homebrew one. What do you personaly recommend. Need some ideas.

If you already have your rotors, take a look at the Green Heron RT-21azel.
If you haven't got your rotors yet, look at the Yaesu G-5500 package.

The Yaesu G-5500 is the most popular commercial az-el rotor. But for automating it, a third party controller board and software is required. Once properly configured, it makes an excellent automated satellite tracking package.

The option I'm looking at is the K3NG controller for my Yaesu 5500. DIY but there are kits out there too. The LVB Tracker from AMSAT has been around a long time but not sure if they're available anymore.

As was answered in another forum, the Fox Delta and the Vibroplex ERC are available choices.
