Many low-frequency enthusiasts will know of the Swedish historical radio station, SAQ, located at Grimeton. The transmitter uses a 200 kW Alexanderson alternator, operating on 17.2 kHz. Volunteers keeping the station alive make a number of transmissions each year, and the video and audio in a clip showing their most recent broadcast a few days ago are excellent, with new radio microphones largely overcoming the substantial background noise during a very informative guided tour before and after the CW message. The program is available on their site at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKmrY3XuSIw
This is compulsive viewing for radio enthusiasts, made possible by the efforts of volunteers at what is likely the best operating historical radio facility in the world. Thanks to the Grimeton people and organization for keeping the "old lady" operating so well.
73, Peter.

That was fantastic. I really enjoyed seeing the technology, and listening to the code. Well Done!
