Is there ANY place to get repeater pairs for old crystal rigs anymore? I think they were HC/25u
or something like that.

Try here. I used to get all my Two-Way radio crystals from them. " http://bomarcrystal.com/ ".

What frequency?
For what radio?
For the old standard channels, the best source
might be someone’s junkbox.

WOW!! Bomar Crystals.....I remember them from when I was a kid buying CB and scanner crystals!! I wonder if they still come in the little plastic snap boxes??!! I sent them an email!
Thanks!

Yuck. They used to over-grind and fill back with graphite. That works fine until the graphite falls off with age. Causes it to drift upwards.
Not sure it they still use that method of "adjustment".

I'd go to Savoy, or International Crystals if I had a choice, but they may be the only show in town these days!

I have some HC-25/U pairs for the Kenwood TR-2200A 2 meter FM transceiver. I believe it was also sold as a Drake Drake TR-22. Let me know if they would work and if so, what frequencies you are looking for. In fact, I just remembered I have the old TR-2200A that I haven't fired up in years. Now I'm curious to see if still works.

I have a few TR-22's and 22C's I already looked in the owner's manual, and the crystals are not the same. I think transmit was, but not receive. Thanks anyway! .....Dave KD2E

If you found some, let us know how you did.
Like a previous post stated, I have over 10,000 crystals from multiple business closings and getting them first, just about anything you can think of, should try to sell them but seems like it would be an overwhelming task to list them.
Make and model and frequency in posts like these help a ton to see if guys like me can help with NOS/ other elements on hand.

ICM stopped making crystals a couple of years ago and they are now closed for ever.
Savoy isn't around either so Bomar may be the only holdout.
I know most of the rock bound repeater owners have had issues re crystalling radios and some have had no choice but to go with Bomar or they have moved up and upgraded to non crystal synthesized equipment.

Well I hope you REALLY like tha old rig!
I recently got a quote from Bomar for some HF Xtals at $50 each! I think they said it was going to be 6 week lead time too.

Freq???,,, If you actually state what you need , you might be surprised. Unless you just have to have new and not NOS. There are guys that are sitting on thousands of elements and crystals that are not bragging, but love a challenge. 73
