Good morning all, I recently acquired a Q Pack Precision Tuner made by Miracle Antenna. A very low loss, compact, well built, but different, 25 watt tuner. The company owner/producer Robert Victor VA2ERY went SK a number of years ago and the company closed. I have spent many hours searching for the manual to this tuner and could not find anyone that had this document available. Very deep into my last search I found this tuner for sale on a site called Gumtree over in England. I had to register on the Gumtree site but I was able to contact the seller. This very kind gentleman, Tony, agreed to copy and email the users guide to me!! So, if anyone needs this document I have it available free of charge, same as I received it. If you are looking to buy one of these tuners, I can provide a link to the advertisement. Tony is asking 140 pounds. I have no idea how the buying process would work but he has one for sale. A very nice guy.

You could send the copy (email) to the BAMA (Boat Anchor Manual Archive) site, then it will be available forever :-)

I will probably send it to Bama. It was a booklet about the size of a QSL card. Maybe a hair larger. I believe it was probably sized to fit into packaging with the small tuner. The copy came fairly dark so I'm trying to weasel my wife into replicating the booklet in MS Office. She worked in an office, I was a die maker/ machinist.

I worked at Charmilles/Andrew in Mpls for a few years, building and calibrating the traveling-wire EDMs that they made. It was awesome what you could do with those, we had a lot of programs we ran to cut funny parts overnight to burn them in :-)

This was cut overnight out of 1/8" tool steel, usually about 2 inches tall :-) All the "lines" were cut in by the wire, then it backed out, etc. Made LOTS of steel snoopys to give friends, ha..
