Title: FX4CR's beginning to ship
Post by: AE5X on February 13, 2023, 06:27:57 AM
Yu BG4FX emailed me a note stating that 27 of his FX-4CR transceivers shipped out today. Those who ordered one before 30 Sept should be getting a tracking number soon:

tks for posting the warning about the non-functional RIT on this 'new' rig... it will be interesting to see how this fatally flawed firmware situation will be handled... there are MANY sellers flogging these units on FleaBay, so a lot of hams are going to get burned on buying this rig! if there was an easy way to reflash (pin header is inside on a PCB?) that would be good, but that does not appear to be the case...

the only problem now is: how does one know if you'll get a firmware fixed version of this rig or not?
