Have a Zumspot for many years which always worked on YSF reflectors with my Yaesu Fusion radios. Recently I wanted to try to access a DMR TG so I'm trying to change my YSF Startup Host in my Yaesu System Fusion Configuration section to start up in a DMR TG . Here is what I have entered:
YSF Startup Host: YSF00002 - YSF2DMR
UPPER CASE host files is ON
WiresX Passthrough is OFF
My DMR ID is properly entered
DMR Master : Brandmeister_3103
My old HotSpot security password is entered
DMR TG: 3141
Can anyone advise why when I bring up the hotspot on the computer that it does not go directly to the TG specified? I suspect I am misunderstanding how to do this but I've never done any hotspot work beyond Fusion only. Thanks for any ideas.

Hi,
Did you save these settings before restarting?

Further research - I guess I cannot do what I wanted to do, which was having my hotspot startup in YSF2DMR mode and go to a specific DMR TG , all on bootup. Looks like at best I can setup startup to the YSF2DMR room in YSF, then I will have to manually use my radio to command hotspot to connect to the specific DMR TG. Either do this or just buy a DMR HT and access my hotspot with DMR instead of YSF. If anyone can affirm this for me it would be appreciated.

That is interesting. I have a boomerang mini pi-star hotspot and only run DMR. I have tried every which way to cross from DMR to YSF to get into the UFB New England network here in Maine and it will not work what so ever. I have tried several different ways and its a no go. I know I know, I should just go out and get a Yaesu Fusion radio. With the price that they are at + I already have enough VHF/UHF radios of various sorts with limited room for coax/antenna that is already at its capacity + VHF is very quiet in Maine and UHF is almost non-existent, I don't want to waste more money on something that will get used once a week if that. I would rather just use what I already have sitting here. Sadly, the most I can get out of my setup is being able to hear UFB New England, but cannot get the DMR to cross back over with my voice. I wonder if Fusion and DMR are barely compatible if at all.
