Title: 10 KW CCS ON 6M...USING THE 3CX-6000A7... PART 20
Post by: VE7RF on March 09, 2023, 08:24:12 AM
Power supply line wiring finished.  Airflow switch installed + a bunch more relays.   Step start installed.
It's all interlocked 6 ways to Sunday  for...'fail safe' operation.

The pair of paralleled fil xfmr's and variac, and blower and new top lid get installed next. Metering yet to be installed.  This might all look easy, but it's time consuming.   Everything in the box runs on 240 vac.

Dunno what he's gonna use for the FWB rectifier assy.  I will ask.

FWB.   12 x  10A10 diodes in each of the 4 x legs.   48 x diodes in total.
The 10A10 is rated for 1 kv @ 10 amps  CCS...and has a 600 amp surge rating.   Dirt cheap.
No load B+ is aprx 6.2 kv.

HB FWB board will be mounted with just 2 x standoffs.   1 at the top..and bottom of the board..and in the center line of the board.  Stay tuned.  He has a 1/2 dozen more amplifiers in for repair, and severe time constraints.
