Title: Yaesu FT290r mic

Hi, I have just got a good bargain off Ebay a YM-38 for £20.
Can anyone provide me with the mic wiring for my 290r please.

The YM-38 must be re wired to suit.
If the YM-38 is wired for a standard Yeasu Transciever, you simply make note of what color or braid is on what pin, compare to standard mic. wiring diagram.
Then using this info, rewire for FT-290r.
If YM-38 is not wired to a standard format, then the multimeter will soon tell you which wire does what,
