Here, the pair of 7.5 vac @ 50 amp CCS fil xfmrs are wired in parallel, and installed on the chassis of the HV supply.
They will be used to power the 7.0 vac @ 78 amp fil of the 3CX-6000A7 triode. Both 240 vac primary's are wired in parallel...and also the 7.5 vac secondary's. Scott has plenty of spare 7.5 vac @ 50 amp fil xfmrs, so it was decided to use 2 of em for this application. Output of the small 0-280 vac @ 4 amp variac is wired to the paralleled primary's of fil xfmrs.
HV rectifier + bleeder resistor assy to be installed next.
