In december 2014 I ordered antennas and phasing cables from VPA-Systems (http://www.vpa-systems.pl/) in Poland. I pre-paid the order (250 EUR) via PayPal and had very good communication with VPA-Systems.

Today, june 2015, I still have not received my antennas. In several e-mails VPA-Systems writes that the antennas will be delivered, but nothing happens. They have no explanation why there is no delivery.

Please stay away from VPA-Systems. I would like to compare this company with a simple thief.

I have several e-mail from Lucjan and he is always telling me "I'm going to send the antennas to you by end of this week.". But no antennas arrives...  So yes, my money is lost...

After more then 10 month the antennas finally arrived! The antennas are OK (see my review) and performs as expected.

But this was the first and last time I paid for antennas from VPA-Systems and can not recommend anyone to order antennas from this company.

I am a little disappointed that this forum on problem suppliers is buried in the forums section rather than being easily accessible from the review pages.

Let me say, I had to wait almost 3 months for my pre-paid order for a DK7ZB antenna from Lucjan. I was disappointed at the delay, having been told he thought he had one ready to be shipped.

What I found out is that being a one man company he builds to order each antenna - and let me say the product he produces is very well made. He states on his website to allow 20 days for production, however Lucjan is suffering from a long term illness and sometimes he is unable to work. If he gets multiple orders at the same time, I believe he has difficulties. This is common of one man companies - there can be delays in material supplies and it the owners ability to produce within a planned timeframe.

If you do not want a delay my recommendation is to buy though a distributor, who buy multiple items to keep stock and then sell at a little higher price. HOGT Telekom in Holland at www.hogttelecom.nl appear to sell the antennas from VPASystems, and other sources.

I'm very happy with the DK7ZB 50/70/144MHz beam from VPA-Systems. The long delay in getting it was unfortunate and next time I will order through a distributor.

Sorry, I haven't seen this topic earlier.

I have ordered a 12m aluminum telescopic mast and a Multiband Delta a year ago. So far, I have only received a mast and this had a length of 10.5m and delivered without accessories. For months I was hold out with lies and did not get the prepaid goods completely. For some time now my mails are no longer answered.

Take care of your hard earned money!!!

Well I ordered a antenna from antennewinkel one of VPAs retailers in holland, great coms and good delivery from them but some bolts were missing and the nuts supplied for the mounting plate were too large and their were more issues with the kit.
Even the plastic clamps to hold the elements to the boom had to have a dremel attack....I have bolts and can work around issues but this should not happen and I did tell the retailer and they said I have had the last antenna from their stock of VPA and they would not be having anymore due to poor fitments in the kit VPA supplied them and I can believe it.
Stay well clear of VPA unless you want to mess around for hours tinkering to get the dam thing to fit the mast.

UPDATE!
=======
After I publicised my experience on a polish web site, the missing antenna was delivered end of September 2017 plus an 8m aluminium mast as a compensation.

What kind of polish website? Was it Mother's site since they make a decent aluminum polish?
