Update....my grandson (W6LDS) and I have since passed our Extra exam.....and he's doing great with his CW....and his SSB....and his digital stuff......he's now my Elmer.

Ausgezichnet!  Herzlichen Gl├╝ckwunsch!  Dreiundsiebzig!  (Excellent!  Congratulations!  73! Cheesy )

Glad to see youngsters taking an interest.  I was 46 when I got my ticket...

Congratulations to you and your grandson, Rick.

Wonderful to see more of the youth get into this great hobby as so many of us did in OUR teenage years.
For many, it became our college education - learning to design and build equipment.

Your buttons must be popping!    Hope I can work your grandson some day

Good Morning and congrats to your grandson. Who knows this may be the impetus to a lifetime of learning and a possible career in electronics. I hope so for his sake.
