Mellish Reef #28 on the most wanted list.

This antenna will not make it through the VK9MA pile-up Why??

Well for a starter, the owner will be ON Mellish Reef handing out QSO's

Please look out for us, we will be QRV with 4 stations 24/7 on all bands 160-10 meters with 9 operators for 12 days.

We will focus hard on EU and NA, and we are planning to do serious dents in the need on lower bands.
As we are 4 ops from Scandinavia we know first handed how hard it is beeing close to the Auroral zone.
Lets hope a 4 day boat trip fron VK will not makes us totally worn out by seasickness... and we should be on the air 4th of november.
In just a week from now we will start the first leg of our trip, to Cairns.

It will be tight on the bands, plenty of other expeditons will be active at the same time, but we are aware of this, and will try to minimize the chaos, and we can only hope those D-QRM evils will be overloaded and give up.

Please call us, we will do our best to get you all in the log! GL to you all Smiley

Lasse,

Thanks for heads up. I wish you a pleasant trip. I worked VK9MT in 2014 on 20m CW. I'll be looking for you guys on 20m digi and 20m SSB.  Grin

Marvin,
You should have no problems to get those! We have good ops both on SSB and digi.
Maybe you should get a random wire up for those low bands just for fun?

Lasse,

Don't give me any ideas about other bands!  Grin Grin Grin

I know myself very well. If I were QRV on all the bands, I'd be sitting at the radio 24/7/365, and I'd have no time for anything else!  Grin Grin Grin

So I'm trying to keep it simple. A single band is enough to keep me happy for now.  Wink

This is the 2nd time I've been on DXpedition and missed a major VK9 DXpedition! First time was VK9WA (I was at S79C) and now this one (I'll be at 5L3BI). Good news is I should be home to catch VK9MA near the end, hopefully Smiley

I am looking forward to working you a few times on bands I need.

I was not in a position to put VK9MT in my log.

Safe travels and thank you for putting this one on the air. I certainly could use some band fills. See you in the pileups!
