I worked them on 15m FT8 last night but nothing has shown up in the log so maybe it was a pirate.

I also worked them on FT8 15M (and 20M) but both have not shown up in their log.  I don't think it was a pirate.  I wonder if their FT8 log requires a "73" exchange to be valid?

Those FT8 contacts have finally shown up in their log sometime after November 20.

Great read indeed and explained why things sometime seemed to go haywire for me.

Three new Challenge Points!

Congrats!

Interestingly, I haven't received any LOTW from VK9MA. On their website, on the QSL page, it reads:

$10 USD donation
- Get your QSOs uploaded to LOTW  and eQSL upon our return.

... so I did OQRS + $10 right after I made my QSOs, but nothing yet.  Grin

Marvin,
as you are in the log with all three QSO's you should have it confirmed ASAP.
If any problem you could alwas send a note to Rob N7QT, he's manaing this.
Sorry but I have not access to the LoTW upload.

Lasse,

No worries at all. As you say, the main thing is that the QSOs are in the log. Sooner or later they will get confirmed. Thanks for the great DXpedition. Excellent show!

Re:  The links above.

Note that the WSJT-X software behaves slightly differently in the very latest releases.

In particular, "Lock TX to RX" disappears and is replaced with "Hold TX Freq".  There are subtle differences in the way it acts with this new setting.

It also shuts off your transmit when you and the DX are simplex and the DX comes back to someone else, which is very nice and reduces errors.
