I'm trying to track down some serious RFI at my QTH. Although https://youtu.be/EmbHOBF0PgE isn't it, there may be a relationship. Have you heard this before? Where it might be coming from? The beeping was found on 20 meters, but I'm pretty sure I've heard it on 40 meters too.

The recurrence intervals are interesting. Spacing is 58.8, 59.1, 58.8, 59.1 kHz.

I'm also starting a blog to document my search for the source of the RFI problem I have.

You can see it at https://htrfi.blogspot.com/

Thanks!

Hank,

My DSL modem and wireless router produce noise at certain spots. Not bothered since I know it source.

But the beep sounds intentional and from afar not RFI.

Sounds like a time signal. But normally you wouldn't hear that on different frequencies within a band.
Smoke alarms may have that sort of frequency as they check the air for smoke particles.
Look around your QTH for anything that has the same frequency of repetition as the beeps you hear.

The "beeping" signals are heard many blocks from my house.
I haven't heard them for a few days, but using experience as a guide, I will again!

Beeping in modulated fashion is typically American branded cordless razors Remington etc. The Lady Remingtons are the worst!
