8R1/AG6UT active in CQ WW and warming up now. I worked him last fall and was delighted to have it confirmed in LOTW in spring.

Just worked him on 30M, booming signal!

I could use 8R on SSB  Grin

I do have 8R confirmed on CW and Digital only. I worked three local call signs on Phone, but have been unable to get QSL cards from them yet.

8R1/AG6UT only works CW and digital. I sent him an email about a possible SSB QSO, but he doesn' work SSB and didn't even take a mic with him. I offered to buy a microphone for his TCVR and have it shipped to 8R, but he said "I'm leaving Wednesday next week".  Angry

I didn't work him in the contest--every time I heard him, he had honkin' BIG pileups going. Smiley  I didn't feel like waiting and trying so I never worked him through the pileups.   I bet he had a great time!

Hi,

It only took me three QSL with green stamps, four QSO asking "PLEASE, please", and three years to get my 75m SSB QSL from Esmond 8R1AK, but no big deal, some guys just require a little push .... Roll Eyes

How long will Heye be operating from Guyana?

I only ever hear Guyana when there are visitors there. Never, ever hear the locals.

Oh well, looks like I'll miss him then.

I do like to work those with whom I've been on DXpedition, when I can.

I worked 8R1AK a few times. Got a QSL from him too.
