Hello,

On rare occasion I want to be able to access our local AllStar repeater from another location out of range of any other AllStar nodes. My desire is to use either the dial-up phone number or a SIP app on the iPhone to connect to it.

Here’s the problem at the moment:

- The primary U.S. phone portal number published on AllStar’s web site immediately gives an error stating the node is invalid (and quoting the phone number just dialed).

- The published alternate U.S. number rings what appears to be a bilingual medical after-hours triage facility.

- A popular SIP app for the iPhone (“Zoiper”) successfully connects to the AllStar PBX, but any attempts to connect to a node fail.

- The AllStar “web transceiver” available on the AllStar site doesn’t work.

Can anyone recommend a good iOS SIP app that works with AllStar?

Thank you,
Kevin KZ3L
