does anyone have the place to purchase a new multi channel switctch/dial for the ts2000 and 480 model. I see pac parts and east coast resistor are discontinued on this. strange as its a common part to wear out on the kenwoods. anyone with a connection to parts?

I would guess that these are probably standard 1/4 or 1/8 shaft knobs so you should be able to locate a "functional" substitute . For an exact replacement you may have to look on ebay , for a radio being  "parted out" there.

Have you contacted Kenwood for parts availability and pricing?

It's just a click-click pulse counter.  Shouldn't be too hard to find an equivalent.
