Hi,

Anyone subscribe to NCJ? I'm interested in starting a subscription and would like to hear what others think?

Tnx,

Mike

Good, relatively quick (35-40 pages) read for anyone with more than a casual interest in contesting.

Articles include profiles/interviews with top contesters, stateside and dx contest operations, propagation, antennas, station building, tips and techniques for everyone from Big Guns to Little Pistols, and detailed results from the North American QSO Party (NAQP) contests.

Just a handful of ads.

This year, they upgraded from bond-paper-type stock to glossy pages. Front and back inside and outside covers are full color. Inside pages (including photos) are black-and-white.

Cover price is $6.00 -- so the $25 domestic 1-year subscription works out to comes out to $4.17 per issue.

IMHO, well worth the price.

I've been a subscriber for well over 20 (30?) years.  I read more of each issue than any other magazine I get.

I wish I could switch my subscription from QST to NCJ/QEX.

If no one is doing it that way, there is a probably a very good reason.

Have been a subscriber for some year now. I usually don't have time to read them when I get them so I save them up for the summer holiday.
By far my favorite amateur radio magazine.
