is the Astron SS-30M the best choice if I want I ligth/quiet/relialable power supply for my IC-7300?

astrons are all good,although I recommend the samles 1235 or 1223 model. they have 2 year warranty and seem like they are nicer fit n finish... I prefer switcher supplies over linear
