There is RCForb Client/ RemoteHams.com. This allows control of real ham stations that many hams generously connect to the internet. You control real radios over the internet in many places in the USA and around the world. Some require paid membership but many do not.

You must be licensed and your license posted on the site. The station owner must approve you to operate his radio. If you don't follow the rules of the FCC and the station owner you get permanently banned.

This is great for HOA's, apartment dwellers and almost anyone who can't have a station where they live. You can also access RemoteHams.com while travelling with a laptop or smartphone. And, this IS REAL RADIO.

The question is about how one defines radio!  Can we call Echolink, DMR, Dstar or other similar modes "real radio" as well?
