Hi, hope somebody can help.

Since I did the recent software upgrade on my 3000 I have noticed that the CW decode 'threshold level' feature that used to be controlled via the Clar/VFO B knob has dissapeared.

When in CW decode mode, if I turn the VFO B knob it adjusts the clarifier value or the VFO B frequency depending on how I have the VFO-B/CLAR button toggled. There does not seem to be any route to having the VFO B knob adjust the CW decode ‘level’ anymore.

I just wondered if this is the same for anybody else ? Or if anyone can suggest anything I am doing wrong such that this Level control is not coming up for me.

Thanks for any help.

In case any other 3000 owners come up against this,....a 'full reset' fixed it.

I now have my CW decode level control back.

Page 7 of manual

[FAST] + [LOCK] pressed while pressing power on.

Now to reprogram all the menus and memories....
