Title: My QTH
Post by: KE5EBS on November 27, 2006, 08:34:01 AM
I could not find a desk to fit my needs for a computer/ham equipment desk, I am not much of a wood worker but tried my hand at it and this is the result.  Turned out much better then I thought it would.

Nice job! I like the matching frame around the clock. Nice touch.

It looks really good and sturdy!  One thing I've done before is to place a 1/4-inch plywood back to hide the cables. Run it from the bottom of one shelf down to about an inch above the one below it. That leaves a 1-inch slot at the back of each shelf to run the cables thru.

Good thought, I may add that one day to the shelf.

Way Not Bad!!! Better than mine! Go Go Go, you! I'll clean my shack up and post pix; but I warn you: it won't be as nice as your station; I guarantee you that! I have 2M and 10M and 440... pretty much thrown together... Peace and 73
