Title: SignaLink USB and Kenwood TS450s
Post by: VE3VID on October 27, 2008, 12:12:40 AM
Are you using a Kenwood TS450 with a SignaLink USB for digital modes?

Are you using the mic jack or the ACC2 plug for the radio connection.

Any help would be appreciated......thanks

David

hi David,

I do not own the 450s, but have used the
SL with my ts-570 using the mic connection.

if you use the 13 pin DIN accy port then
you will have to power the SL with external power.

Are you having problem(s) with your setup ?

I use a USB Signal Link with my TS-450s/at and use the 13-pin connector on the back.  It works fine.  I use Hamscope software for PSK31 and RTTY.  If I can help you can email me at wd0bwm1@swbell.net if you wish.  I live in Kansas City area.

Hi Don,

Sounds like we have the same setup. I just received my SL USB and I'm having trouble setting it up. I'm using HRD with DM780. Like to know if you had to do anything special.
