have been running Suse for a while,
- it runs just fine along side with other O/Ss.

do give it some elbow room, to work with.

I am also running OpenSuse 13.2. I have been using OpenSuse for a few years now.

I get most of my amateur radio programs from the the repositories except CHIRP and CQRLog. I generally use CHIRP daily builds and generally update CQRLog as soon as the update is announced. I haven't had to compile anything in years. I use XFCE for my desktop environment. It is speedier and more lightweight than KDE or Gnome.

My wife just gave me her older win7 she got a new laptop so I installed the Suse 13.2 on it and am loving it, (am using my win7 laptop for this post) till I get the hang of Suse once again and it appears that may not take to long, and once I get all my various accounts switched over this laptop will be a backup.
