I have an old (but good) LK-800C amp with three 3CX800A7.
Now one of these tubes is gone.
I'd like to get (buy) just one 3CX800A7 to have a full set of 3. Who sells?

As the new tubes are very expensive, I'd prefer just one used tube since the amp is a backup and used seldom.
TNX for any hints.

IF the other 2 tubes are Eimac, my preference would be for an Eimac replacement.

Alpha tubes are selling a 3CX800 version (not Eimac), for $400 each

Read spec sheet, first.

=====
Richardson has tubes (commercial broadcast, industry, and military their primary clients),
BUT not cheap.

United RF on ebay is very reputable and has good Eimac pulls.  I know him personally and he will send another tube if one you buy does not work well.

I have an Eimac sitting on my parts shelf you could buy. It was tested good by Alpha in 2003, but has been collecting dust since then. I no longer have an amp that uses it....

It's under store name. Doesn't appear to have any 3cx800's at the moment

If no one is doing it that way, there is a probably a very good reason.
