Hi Mason,

Thank you for another contact, on a different band. I saw you calling DX for a while with no takers, and thought to 'let you know' that you were getting out.  Wink

Thanks for the LoTW match.

It was good to work you again... I had a few EU callers but most everyone over there was asleep  Grin Also saw you calling 9G2HO on 30m last night.

That was a weird one, no joy here. Sad

Did you see what he was sending in the CQs? It seemed to change every couple of CQs. Some did not make any sense at all. It looked like a 'software' issue. Huh

Prop to EU, from here, was fine yesterday. I could see myself in the Twente SDR with a solid waterfall imprint.

Yeah I tried calling him for a bit but he had a lot of callers and didn't seem to hear a lot of them.

My 30m antenna is just my 20m delta loop tuned up down there, so that makes it pretty inefficient. Despite that I was able to work just about every Ukraine and Russian station in existence last night so maybe it's not totally abysmal  Cheesy

"He" might have been "She":

I think that is one of the more compelling stories on QRZ and kudos to them for doing the most with what they have....which evidently isn't much.   And note too that I haven't seen this be played into some kind of money raising thing.

Over the weekend, I saw 9G2HO getting bashed on the cluster for not hearing stations on 6 meters.  Hey, they are trying, and it would seem that they have very little in the way of filtering or any modern receiving advantages....which would explain why they are often heard but not worked.

10 minutes before posting this, I had the attitude of "what the heck is 9G2HO doing, and why are the screwing up so much?"  But now I believe they are trying really hard.

I have them confirmed on 15 and 17.   I'm considering offering to be their QSL manager for paper cards.  Thanks guys (and gals) of 9G2HO!!
