TR8CA 10 SSB from 10/2001

Love getting LoTW confirmation for older QSOs

Ray

Why so long?  I've worked him about 20 times and I've received LoTWs quickly for all those QSOs.

Chris  NU1O

What's the oldest Q you have? I assumed he's just entering his old paper logs.
Maybe you're just a much better DXer than me, who knows???  Huh Huh Huh

Ray

My 1st QSO with him was in November of 2011 and I usually received his LoTW credits quickly.  They didn't just come all at once.

my oldest Q is the one mentioned above, Oct 2001. I also have 2 from 2002 which haven't hit LoTW yet (probably hand entering them from his paper log).

I have several from 2015 - 2016 which have all been rapidly confirmed on LoTW.

There's a newly arrived op in Gibraltar, ZB2TT, who has been showing up on the bands a lot this past week and uploads to LOTW very quickly.

Gibraltar isn't rare by any means, and there have been a couple of LOTW users on from there in the past, so above is not earthshaking news. But it's a very positive development.

That's good news. In my log I have several stations from Gibraltar, but only ZB2CN and now ZB2TT have confirmed via LOTW.

I worked him yesterday first on CW then phone. The Phone QSO counted as a 17 meter challenge point as well as a new phone contact on LoTW. (I have cards for others but they've never been checked)

Both have been confirmed on LoTW.

Nice to have him there. I hope he does RTTY!

OK2RZ from March 2002

Ray

Ray,

Indeed, all of my QSOs with OK2RZ have been confirmed today via LOTW today. Jiri is a new LOTW user (he has been a ham for 50 years and he turned 70 this June).  Grin

RI1FJ - Franz Josef Land

Thanks to Tom, N8EHW, for mentioning in another thread about this updated information regarding RI1FJ status. Today, his manager posted the following at www.qrz.com/db/RI1FJ

14 August 2016 update

Gentlemen, Eugeny RI1FJ left the island on 5-6th August. He is onboard RSV Somov, sailing home. Watch Somov route at http://194.190.129.43/ships/somov.php As soon he is on the Internet, I upload his log onto clublog.org, and everyone will be able to use OQRS form on this page as well. Please be patient, all requests will be replied! Smiley
