A great example of what I was getting at.  The CE1TT QSO I really needed confirmed was in 2013.  Got the card long ago.  Even turned it in for credit.

Very happy to see the station on LOTW now, but "impatience" meant I spent money on QSLing that a more patient fellow could have avoided.

I have 2 QSOs with him and could use some slots but no LoTW.

Chris, I sent him my QSL + $3 + SAE on December 23rd and 6 days later I received the LOTW confirmation. He may eventually upload the entire log to LOTW, but I didn't want to wait much longer since it was a new digital (#232) entity for me.

Happy New Year Marvin!

I had a feeling you made a donation whereas I did not. I find quite a few only upload to LoTW if there is a donation.  I'm OK with waiting six months, or even a year, but after a year very little money will trickle in so why not just upload the whole log? This practice has become one of my pet peeves.   Huh  Also, the LoTW policy is not typically spelled out precisely on QRZ which complicates things. For example, 8R1/AG6UT does not give his QSL policy on QRZ.

I was randomly tuning across 12m last week when I heard a very loud RTTY signal. So loud I thought it might be a local, fired up WinWarbler, tuned in - and found it was VP8NO calling CQ. We had a nice QSO, and my logbook software (DXKeeper) said that Falklands was a new one for RTTY for me. LotW confirmation came through a few days later - thanks, Mike!

Paper cards VP2EGR and IS0XRB on 160M--now 103/100!

Lino also sent me an unusual card printed on thin cork.
