XU7MDC and 5T5TI confirmed on LoTW today, both new ones on 40m.   I also got my Z36T card with the semi-nude body today, also a new one on 40m.  Also in the same envelope was a coin of Macedonia, apparently a gift from Z36T.

Paper cards VP2EGR and IS0XRB on 160M--now 103/100!

Lino also sent me an unusual card printed on thin cork.

Zack, congrats to your 100 entities on 160m. What's next? 100 countries on 60m perhaps?  Grin

When I got my DXCC several years ago it was quite anti-climatic.  It was at that point I realized how many more I needed to go to work them all Cheesy  All of a sudden the goal post just moved from 100 to 200, LOL.

I know of a ham who's putting up a yagi for 60m.

Marvin- did your SWR come back to normal?

Jonathan, yes, thanks for asking, the SWR went back to normal the following day. Rain or snow normally doesn't affect my SWR, it's only when there's A LOT of wet snow sitting on the antenna, or when the elements are enveloped in a layer of ice. It may happen once or twice during winter. When it happened to me for the first time, during the first winter after I set up my remote QTH, I worried my antenna might have been physically damaged. The remote QTH is over 100 miles from my home and it takes 3 hours to drive there... Since then I've installed a remote camera there so I can easily look at my antenna without having to drive there or asking someone to email me a photo...  Grin

OH0Z came through on LotW about 2 weeks after contact, for a new confirmation on 160M. I managed to find him before he was spotted, tuned across his freq a bit later and the pileup was huuuuge. With slower CW speeds on 160, and many people not being able to hear well on that band in any event, 160M pileups are right up there with DC Beltway traffic jams as my favorite things to avoid...

Congrats, I have not worked OH0 on 160M since 2013! Of course that was OH0Z too :-).

The "interesting" winter openings to Scandinavia have been fun this late-fall and winter.

80M is regularly open to parts of Scandinavia - I think the more northern parts? - each of my mornings before dawn.

15M and 20M are sometimes (always?) open to parts of Scandinavia in our late afternoon, when it's nearly midnight there.
