N4RJ from the 160m CW contest, from 1995 on LOTW.  Not big DX, but hey, what's 22 years ?

If no one is doing it that way, there is a probably a very good reason.

HB0WR confirmed on LOTW and QRZ for our 40m SSB QSO! Thanks for the first HB0 confirmation! I had worked HB0AFVL on 17m, but no LOTW...

It was a good morning on JT65.  My friends did better than I did.  I had a shot at UX1UA and a couple of other Scandanavians, but I couldn't quite get it done.  Like a lot of Es openings on 6, it was only AZ as far as I could tell and not elsewhere, which is fortunate or we'd have been drowned out.  A lot of my buddies cashed in for the UX, most of the Scandanavians that were on.

JT65 is a real game changer on 6.  I am decoding stuff I would have thought impossible, such as SV, UA/UR, and a lot else.  Need to find time to improve my 6m station to get them, though.

I am still new to 6m DXing, but my friends who have been in AZ a long time (where DXCC is a real challenge) tell me that instead of "maybe" one opening a year, we now have two or three.

You guys in the central and eastern US really should be cashing in these days.

Just a note regarding 5A1AL's QSLing...

I've read on the DX cluster a few times about people not receiving his QSL cards. I had an SSB QSO with Abubaker recently. It was a new mode for me so I used the Clublog OQRS, paid the requested amount, but sent him a note to only upload to LOTW and NOT to send a paper QSL (I had two paper QSLs from him already).

Well, LOTW was uploaded shortly after, and even the paper QSL arrived yesterday - despite me telling him NOT to bother.  Grin

So, 5A1AL does seem to send QSL cards quite well.  Grin

I received my 5A1AL card in the mail yesterday too. I had also sent Abubaker a note saying LotW only was ok. Just about a month for the card. Great job Abubaker Smiley
