Congrats Wayne, but why did it take so long? You were one of the first ones to work Mark.  Grin

Well, I had to go look Marvin.

Worked Mark on 3 bands March 4, 8th and 9th.  I looked up the PayPal - I sent $10 for the QSL on July 14th via OQRS.  I can't remember why I waited 4 over months to send for it, but I do remember I had a really great conversation with him after he got home about the island, the local military "inmates", running out of food, his two months plus away from home, how is family worried, and the paperwork and logistical obstacles he had to overcome, etc.

So then I went and looked at the postmark on the envelope - Mark bought the stamp on Sep 9, postmarked on September 10.

Arrived here November 29th.

Address, name, all info 100% readable, no issue there.

Maybe they had to slingshot it over the wall...

Interesting comments on the 4B4B post at DX World - https://dx-world.net/4b4b-socorro-island-na-030-revillagigedo-islands/

Well, it likely wasn't an ATNO for you, that's why you didn't rush like the rest of us.  Grin Grin Grin

NH6D/KH4, Midway, for a 20m CW QSO in October of 2000.  LoTW.

And if that's not old enough, I recently got a confirmation from a JA for a 1989 QSO.

Worked - hunt and pounce - during the CQ WW DX CW contest on 80 and 15 meters only (band fills for 5B DXCC) and made 110 QSO's. Only a week after the end of the contest and 47.27% of the Q's have already been verified in LOTW!

that's a nice one!

I haven't worked Midway since 2000 and none are on LoTW.
