My 10 MFD 5000 volt cap shorted out. I think I can use 10 100 MFD 450 volt caps in series. Does anyone know what value/type ballast resistors to use? Thanks.
This is for my Hallicrafters ht33a.

50k to 100k ,i like wirewound, figure the wattage then shop some hamfests.
i think i had a bunch of 20k ww and i put 3 in series across each cap, my memory!!
