I'm running an ICOM 7600 with built in sound card. Was working great, now under the software settings"transmit audio source" can not choose either "rear/data" or "front/ mic". Need to select "rear/data" to use the internal sound card. Many times I have deleted/reinstalled this program, but the computer's registry automatically puts in the settings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Al K9FW

My advice would be to download and install Revo Uninstaller.

https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Do an "advanced" uninstall. It will search for leftover files, and for leftover registry entries, that most "normal" uninstall processes leave behind.

Tried that uninstall(advanced),  reinstalled WSJT-X. Same problem.

Thanks for the reply.    Al     K9FW

Are you sure it's still set for IC7600?

I just checked my WSJT-x v1.7 and the front/rear selection is dimmed out (fixed for front only) when the IC7600 is selected. You might try manually putting the radio into USBD mode. There should be a radio menu item to set the input to the USB connector when USBD or LSBD is selected. You will also need to set WSJT-x to use USBD (rather than USB) for the radio so it can return the radio to that mode each time you start the program.

Yes when using the internal sound card, the radio is in USB D1. Could be there is another setting that is wrong.  Can't figure it out.

Thanks for your help.

Now have it working and recorded the settings.
Thanks for the replies.
